Dear TCS Family, As you are aware, our community has been hit hard from Hurricane Helene. The majority of our county is without power and cell service is very limited. Transylvania County Schools will be CLOSED through Friday, October 4, 2024; with NO extra-curricular activities, including sports. We will reassess the situation as the week progresses and send out further information on Friday, Oct. 4 for the following week. For community feeding information, please look at Transylvania County Facebook or tune in to WGCR or WSQL. Let's continue to be better together and support one another. Please share this information with your neighbors and help us spread the word. Take care and stay safe.

Hello TCS Families, Transylvania County Schools will have Virtual Learning Days on Thursday, September 26 and Friday, September 27, 2024 for all students. All school buildings will be Closed for students and students will learn from home. During Virtual Learning Days, K-12th grade teachers assign student work via Google Classroom. In addition, teachers are available by email from 8:00 AM to Noon. Students will have 5 days to complete work from the first day you return to school. If you have any questions or your student has trouble accessing their Google Classroom, please contact your child's teacher. Thank you for your understanding and please be safe.
