School-Community Relations
The School and Community Relations department of Transylvania County Public Schools provides a way to communicate student, staff, and teacher accomplishments to the community in a timely and accurate fashion. News media including newspaper articles, daily website updates, and radio interviews communicate to the public our district's goals and objectives.
It is important that students and teachers receive the recognition they deserve for their hard work and accomplishments. The staff bulletin board and school calendars provide ways to advertise upcoming events and share important dates with parents and community members.
In the case of a school closing or delay and/or schedule or event changes we will update and inform the community with accurate information as timely as possible.
