The safety and security of students in Transylvania County Schools is of prime importance.  School staff have worked with county and state emergency response teams to develop a crisis plan for every school.  Regular practices of crisis responses are a part of the school activities.

Visitors to school campuses are expected to check in at the school office and obtain a badge to wear during their visit.  Visitors sign out and return the badges upon departure.  School resource officers at all schools help to maintain a safe and secure atmosphere.
