Hello parents,

My name is Cody Ashe, and I am the Physical Education teacher at Brevard Elementary School. I grew up in this area, and I actually graduated from Rosman in 2007. I am excited to be teaching here at BES, and I want to show the students a different variety of games so they can have fun while in PE. I also believe in fitness being apart of PE, so the students will be getting a good sweat on while playing in PE.

My goal for each one of the students in the school is for them to leave with the basic skills and knowledge of different games that they can particpate in later in life. I believe that the more skills each student knows, the more likely they will attempt to live a healthy lifestyle when they are completly done with school. I feel like it is my job as your child"s PE teacher to teach them the skills needed to be successful in a varity of different games. I am also going to make PE as fun as possible for each student, so that they want to get out and particpate in healthy activities throughout their life.
