Fire/Resuce Truck
Remembrance Rescue Project Visited our School!
The Remembrance Rescue Project is an organization created by firefighters to restore, preserve and share former FDNY  Rescue 4 & Rescue 5 from 9/11 as educational tools, historical artifacts and memorials. The project is also an educational effort focused at society, especially youngsters who were too young to understand the events of 9/11 and how that history forever changed the country as a whole. The project is not a FDNY operation, but a national campaign for 9/11 education and remembrance for all fallen firefighters. The project coordinates with host fire departmens. The project strives to keep the memories alive of those lost on September 11th and all firefighters killed in the line of duty every year. It is operated by firefighters from across the country volunteering their time.
